About the breed

the Jug is actually a mix between the feisty Jack Russell Terrier and the calm and confident Pug. As the parent breeds have such vastly different personalities, appearances and exercise requirements, individual Jugs can differ considerably from one another and it is not easy to predict how a Jug will turn out.

A small dog with a sturdy body and short limbs, the Jug tends to be more streamlined than the Pug, though less athletic than the Jack Russell.

We take choosing your new family addition seriously, providing advice on crossbreed puppies’ appearance, temperament, characteristics, and more. Our selection includes Cavapoos (Cavalier King Charles x Toy Poodle), Cockapoos (Cocker Spaniel x Miniature Poodle), Puggles (Pug x Beagle), and more. As a fully licensed breeder, we adhere to regulatory standards and undergo weekly vet visits.

All facilities here at Douglas Hall Kennels are kept hygienic and clean and are available for inspection at any time. All puppies are raised with tender loving care and leave us with our guarantee of quality and health. Also, all puppies leave us having had their first vaccination and with a bag of Royal Canin puppy food included. We are open all year round, seven days a week with our opening hours being from 10:30 am till 4:30pm and till 6pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.,  10:30 am till 4:30 pm on Saturdays and 10 am till 5 pm on Sundays.
